1 · Acceptance
By accessing or using any SFH website, you accept these Terms of Use and ourPrivacy Policy. If you’re using the sites on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms.
2 · Intellectual property
All content on our sites — including text, photographs, illustrations, video, logos, the SFH brand, programme names, and underlying code — is owned by SFH or used under licence and is protected by intellectual-property laws.
You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use, and link to our pages in good faith, provided you do not misrepresent your relationship with SFH. Any other use — including reproduction, distribution, or use of the SFH name and marks — requires our written permission.
3 · Acceptable use
When using our sites, you agree not to:
- Use the sites for any unlawful purpose or in a way that violates these terms.
- Interfere with or disrupt the sites, their security, or other users’ access.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the sites, our systems, or the underlying networks.
- Scrape, mirror, or harvest data from the sites without permission.
- Impersonate SFH, a country office, an entity, or any partner.
- Upload or transmit any material that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, harmful, or otherwise objectionable.
4 · Your submissions
When you send us a message, sign up for the talent pool, subscribe to the bulletin, or otherwise submit content through our sites, you grant SFH a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use that content for the purpose you submitted it for. You also confirm the content is yours to share and isn’t confidential to anyone else.
5 · Third-party links
Our sites link to the websites of country offices, programme entities, donors, partners, and the independent ethics line operated by KPMG Nigeria. We’re not responsible for the content or practices of those sites — their terms and privacy policies apply when you visit them.
6 · Disclaimers
Our sites are provided “as is”. We work hard to keep them accurate, current, and secure, but we make no warranties — express or implied — about availability, accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose.

7 · Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, SFH and its affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, our sites. Our total liability to you for any claim related to the sites is limited to the amount you have paid us, if any, in the twelve months prior to the claim.

You agree to indemnify SFH, its country offices, entities, and partners against any claim arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of our sites.

We may suspend or terminate your access to our sites at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you are in breach of these terms or if continued access creates a risk to the sites or to other users.
10 · Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The courts of Abuja, Nigeria have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or relating to these terms or the sites — without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules that may apply to you in your country of residence.
11 · Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Continuing to use our sites after a change means you accept the updated terms.
